Nikki Seo immigrated to the U.S. from South Korea when she was in the third grade. She spent the remainder of her childhood years in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. until she moved to Chicago to attend Wheaton College, then returned to the east coast for graduate school. While in graduate school, Nikki had the opportunity to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) in the public school setting for two years until she and her husband decided to move to Southern California in 2003.
For the past fourteen years, Nikki has been a homeschooling mom to her four children. With their oldest three in college or beyond, and their youngest now in traditional high school, she is grateful for the opportunity to remain a part of a wonderful homeschooling community like Arbor as an instructional assistant.
In her spare time, Nikki enjoys exploring national parks with her family, serving at her local church, and going for early morning runs.
