Natalie Knox
TeacherMs. Natalie has been teaching all over Orange County, in various settings ever since she left the public school classroom in 2005, when her daughter was born. In her six years at the public middle school, as GATE coordinator, Honors English teacher, and Dramatic Arts coach, she created many after school programs that gave the students a chance to think “outside the box”. With a passion for writing, and how it can inspire children and teens to think creatively and express themselves freely, she sought out classes to teach while still being “mom” to her two young children. She has created and instructed classes for the city of Fullerton: Writing the Blurb. She teaches a Playwriting class for kids at McCoy Rigby Conservatory of Arts; Intro to Creative Writing at OCSA; many years of tutoring and consulting kids/teens in the writing process, and two years as a vendor for homeschool families teaching Creative Writing Adventure. Ms. Natalie believes through fun and relevant writing tasks, kids can effectively share their thoughts and creativity with the world! Ms. Natalie earned her BA in English (Creative Writing) and Dramatic Arts (Playwriting) from UC Santa Barbara, single subject teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton, and GATE Certification at UC Irvine Extension.
