Mrs. Julia Miller was born and raised in Southern California and was homeschooled through high school. She remained active by competing in several sports including basketball, soccer, swimming, cross country, and track and field. During the last six years, she has been instructing children in various subjects.  Applying her love for teaching and creative expression, she instructed elementary school children in after school programs for several years in the areas of Lego engineering, stop motion, and robotics. She also has extensive experience teaching outside of the classroom as a swim instructor and Lifeguard Instructor. Julia has also had experience as a private tutor for elementary and middle school students in both one-on-one and group settings.

In her free time, she creates art on her iPad and sketchbook, hikes, watches anime, and swims. She also really enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons as well as video games with her husband, family, and friends.
