Ms. Jing was born in northern China, and moved to the U.S. when she was 13. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences, and also received her teaching credential there. She has taught math and science in the public schools for the past 16 years. Recently, she has decided to teach part-time, so she will be able to spend more time with her two young children. Teaching math has always been her passion. She began tutoring math during 8th grade when a friend needed help, and continued to tutor during high school and college. Ms. Jing loves to teach algebra through activities because they allow students to gain a deeper understanding of math and it is fun. Ms. Jing is also looking forward to sharing her first language, Mandarin, with students at the Arbor.
Ms. Jing is usually busy driving her two children to different activities. During her free time, she enjoys nature walks with her husband and kids.
