Gaby Mullen was born and raised in Guatemala City in a family of seven children. She completed her education as a Spanish Early Childhood Educator and produced and hosted a children’s radio show for five years. After moving to California thirteen years ago, Miss Gaby has been continuing her education and teaching Spanish in immersion settings while homeschooling her three children who attend The Arbor.
Miss Gaby loves singing with her husband, traveling with her family, hiking, crafting, crocheting, and coffee. She also enjoys reading Spanish poetry and fiction novels both in English and Spanish. Ms. Gaby is also a doula (birth coach) and is currently working on a Pre-Nursing degree at Fullerton College, with the dream of becoming a Labor and Delivery Nurse. In addition to her husband and two children, she also lives with two dogs, fish, and a leopard gecko.
Miss Gaby loves to teach her students not just another language but also educate them about the richness of the Latino culture. She is excited to work with the families at The Arbor Learning Community!
