Emily Lindbeck

Teacher

Emily Lindbeck was born and raised in Southern California.  Her performing career took her to New York City and abroad for many adventures, but she has happily found her way back to Orange County where she now resides with her husband and two children. She developed a love and passion for teaching while studying Musical Theater Performance in college, and that passion has deepened over the years. There are so many beneficial elements of Theater that aid in the overall development of children, and she finds it a joy to be involved in that process.

Emily holds an MFA degree in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University and a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in Musical Theatre Performance from California State University, Fullerton. She has performed throughout Europe, in Cruise Ship Productions, and on the Broadway Stage. Emily has taught several Theater and Musical Theater courses at the following institutions and theatre companies: The Arts & Learning Conservatory, Braver Players Theater Company, The Orange County High School of the Arts (OCSA), San Diego State University and Crafton Hills College.

In addition to the arts, Emily also loves traveling, reading, cooking, camping and going on long bike rides and hikes with her family. She is so grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many young minds and hearts, and to watch them grow and flourish!
