Mrs. Deanna Sabri is a California native and much of her childhood was spent growing up in Orange County. She graduated from Anaheim High School in 1988 and immediately went to work in an administrative capacity for a local machine manufacturer and then in the construction industry (following in her father’s and brother’s footsteps). Here she learned to shine in several administrative and management positions, sharpening her supportive skills.
After being married for 9 years, she and her husband were blessed with two sons. After her boys spent several years in a traditional school where Mrs. Sabri was a noon duty supervisor, they decided to make a change. With her husband working as a fireman and helping with their family business on days off, they realized family time was taking a back seat. After doing a lot of research, they made the decision to start homeschooling. It was a challenge at first, but it was the best decision ever! The flexibility allowed them to spend quality time together, meet other homeschooling families and enjoy many adventures. Fast forward 5 years and the boys are now teenagers and ready to venture back to public school.
Not one to sit still for long, Mrs. Sabri is ready for a new chapter in her life. Since the time spent in an administrative capacity and the time spent in the field of education was by far the most rewarding, being able to join The Arbor Learning Community is the best of both worlds.
Some of Mrs. Sabri’s favorite things to do are spending time with her family, anything involving the beach, and having a nice big cup of coffee while reading a good book!
