A California native, Mrs. Soler has spent her whole life in southern California. Beginning her college career in San Diego, she earned a Degree in English Education from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. While studying there, she worked with foreign language students, tutoring them in reading and writing, and also worked with Junior High teachers as a teacher assistant. She quickly fell in love with teaching and education, as she watched students grasp the concepts being taught while finding their own voices in their writing. A few years later, Mrs. Soler went on to complete a Masters Degree in Education and teaching credential from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles.
For twenty years Mrs. Soler worked at the same school, teaching English Language Arts to Junior High students, developing curriculum with grade-level teams, and then as a school principal. In her administrative role, she worked with homeschool students to monitor academic work. Mrs. Soler recently left her career in education to be a stay at home mom to her young daughter.
In her free time, Mrs. Soler enjoys taking photos, reading a good book, and writing creatively. When not spending time with their daughter, Mrs. Soler and her husband enjoy date nights at the movies and Cha Cha’s.
