Ms. Cat Kelley is a mixed media artist from Southern California who turned her passion for creating and sharing art with others into her successful business, Blue Moxie Art. Ms. Cat happily shares her love of creating in various ways–teaching mixed media art lessons to students ranging from age 5-68; teaching at a variety of local and out of state private and corporate events, including birthday parties, team-building exercises, Christian conferences, and family gatherings; teaching at local Hobby Lobby stores; running an online store; and running a wildly popular summer art camp in her home.
Ms. Cat is a trailblazer and inspiration to others who want to make their own path and create a life doing the work they love. She says, “I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t creating something. My childhood memories are full of drawing, painting, writing and a plethora of assorted art and craft projects. I was the daydreamer who got busted more than once for drawing in class. As a creative soul, art has been the one constant in every stage of my life. I love all types of art mediums and could never choose just one or two to work with. When I first heard the term “mixed media artist” a few years ago, it clicked in my heart, that is definitely who I am.” Her website is bluemoxieart.com.
Ms. Cat has been married to her amazingly supportive husband Ray for over 30 years. They raised their two children, now grown, in the house that she grew up in, which they now share with their five dogs. When Ms. Cat isn’t creating art she loves to read, watch movies, ride her beach cruiser Gracie, travel, and spend time with her friends and family
